Extra FPs with Vacation Package

Isnt the tours that you go front in the line of rides consider selling money for fast passes (Even better since you dont even wait in the line)?
Arguably, yeah. It's a pretty niche thing that's totally separate, though. Which tours are you talking about? Keys to the kingdom? It's also 5 hours they're not goong to be riding rides outside of the free rides.

Still, very good observation. The similarities are certainly there.

The latest vacation package on the Disney Parks blog includes 2 extra FPs as part of the promotion

Semantics of the "kindermoon" aside, is this the first time Disney has outwardly offered FPs for money? We've known for ages that Disney has wanted to do this, and it seems like they've finally found a way.

$987 for 2 days in the parks and 3 nights at an All Star for a family of 3 isn't anything special, so it seems like they're trying to lure people in at a marginally higher rate. With all the various upcharges around the resort, is this something we're likely to see more of in the near future?
While I'm not in this demographic, this will allow parents with small kids the ability to plan out their day a little better. Five FastPasses per family can make a trip that much enjoyable. I wonder if this is some sort of research that we will be different versions down the line?

Brilliant marketing move. Give away bonus fast passes to people with young children for attractions that don't need FP except for the busiest days for the year. The guest feels like they are getting something special for free (and it is likely they will use the FP since it's for attractions appropriate to the demographic) and Disney hasn't interfered with anyone else's day. It's a win for everyone. This seems like a smart way to utilize the technology. Now if the guest asks to substitute Mine Train instead...that's gonna be a problem.
