extra evening hours

Good morning from Europe :)
Question to anyone who is familiar with the extra evening hours for deluxe resort guests:
On the website, as far as I can see, the calendar shows the dates for the next 60 days. Mondays in EPCOT, Wednesdays in the Magic Kingdom. In your experience, do the days remain the same throughout the season?
I think 60 days in advance is a bit tight, as you have to know in advance when you are going where in order to book the corresponding hotel.
maybe someone already has experience of this.

Yes, typically these days of the week are tied to the Park…

Mondays - Epcot
Wednesdays - Magic Kingdom
These days of the week/Parks have been tied together for quite some time and are only iffy during the Holiday Season

Be on the lookout (but don’t count on it) aa Animal Kingdom and Studios might be added back in to the lineup.

Animal Kingdom was on the slate for a couple of Thursdays this past December …..

Studios had alternating Wednesdays and Thursdays last September….

Again, I wouldn’t count on either Animal Kingdom or Studios, but it is possible

If you're staying at a deluxe resort, the day of the week doesn't matter.
Yes, but the OP might be trying to plan park itineraries, nighttime entertainment plans, and dining reservations around extra evening hours, so it's good for them to know what to expect, day-by-day.

That's what I did when planning our trip last August, anyway. Not that the extra evening hours helped us much in the end: the constant stream of DAS users jamming the Lightning Lanes, every minute of those "extra" hours (particularly at EPCOT for some reason, where it took us the entire two hours just to do Frozen and Ratatouille), made sure of that. Sorry to sound so negative about it: hopefully our experience was an anomaly and others are getting great use out of the extra time! For us, it ended up being more valuable as an opportunity to get photos in less-crowded common spaces, and to enjoy sub-90s temperatures for a little while, than as a way to get on attractions with a short wait.

Also might be asking the likelihood of the Extended Evenings beyond the 60 Window. Currently the Calendar is published thru March 20 and it shows Epcot/MK Extended Hours on Monday/Wednesday. While "subject to change" would apply, at least its published....

Disney have said the extra hours would be extended throughout 2024.

Although the days and parks can’t be guaranteed, the pattern has been maintained since their inception, other than around party time. There are the odd days when special events cause a change of day.

I think the question was the day of the week and if it was predictable as far as continuing Monday/Wednesday throughout the year
Yes, exactly, that's what I meant... Sorry, if it wasn't clear enough. We have a 7 day ticket, usable during 15 days during april. So I'd like to plan now, on which day we will visit which park to book a deluxe resort on these days for taking advantage of the extra hours. Or do you thing this isn't worth it?

I'd say its worth it.

It sounds like you're considering a split stay? If so, I'd advise to check in to the Deluxe on Monday, and check out on Wednesday. Keep in mind you receive the benefit the day of checkout so you'd have the Extended Evening for both Epcot on Monday and MK on Wednesday for a 2 night Deluxe stay (assumes split stay without knowing beginning/end days of your trip)

Thats crazy that there were so many DAS USERS that it backed the lines up that long. I use DAS and on our EEH nights, I had a hard time getting into the LL, especially FEA, and then we were the only ones in line. Very odd

Maybe we were there on an off night, but the Lightning Lanes were in constant use throughout EEH, and the slowdown effect was particularly noticeable at EPCOT. Obviously I wasn't asking people if they were DAS, but since G+ wasn't available during EEH, I can't imagine any other explanation. I will say that many of them were groups of 6 teens - presumably locals, with as many friends as possible glomming on to each DAS user.

I hear ya! It doesn’t help that this service is terribly abused! Our Epcot evening was a bust the one night we could go as it rained so hard that we got stuck in the gift shop at the end of FEA for 60 min. The one time we left the ponchos back in the room! But I really enjoyed the MK EEH. Glad they’ve kept the benefit for 2024.

This perk of a Deluxe Resort is only a perk if you stay overnight on a Monday or Wednesday. All other nights it means nothing and should not be touted.

If you stay on a Sunday or Tuesday you would still qualify on your checkout day, even if you move to a different resort on the day of the EEH. Plus occasionally the days change.

Or checkout Monday or Wednesday.....works on the day of checkout as well....

Overnight Sunday or Monday = Epcot Extended Evening

Overnight Tuesday or Wednesday = MK Extended Evening
