Extinct Attractions Club Releases New DVD's

Attention Everyone: The Extinct Attractions Club has released their new batch of DVD's for 2004. They are: World of Motion, Original Universe of Energy, Original Journey Into Imagination, and If You Had Wings (with its other three incarnations). There will be more to come in 2004. If you don't know what an Extinct Attractions Club DVD is, they are a company or "club" of people that make DVD's on of course extinct rides from disneyland and walt disney world. These are the ENTIRE ride throughs. These usually show almost all or most of the entire que and exit areas. There is usually bonus video, a history segment, and audio portions. The dvd's are created with time and care, and are not at all just put together. They do digitally remaster the videos of the rides, but sometimes the "quality" is not what you may expect. You may here someone talking briefly in the background or see another person or the camera might go blurry briefly, but for the majority the dvd's are very good.

Today is the day! The Extinct Attractions Club has now released their new DVD's. They are available on their website, and also on Ebay.

Highlites Include: If You Had Wings the complete ride through and it's 3 incarnations.

World of Motion ride through with the famous bird and robot show along with other transcenter features

Original Universe of Energr

Original Imagination!

More DVD's are still being made

And they are using my footage!

I have done my own videos of Universe of Energy, Horizons (full omnisphere film and all 3 complete endings), World of Motion (including full Bird and the Robot), Journey into Imagination and Spaceship Earth (Cronkite) / Communicore (with Backstage Magic), using the footage I sent them, plus lots more I have aquired with permission.

All are edited from multiple angles and with source audio, run from walk in to walk out, and feature any pre/post shows. I just sent steve (WDWMagic admin) them today, so hopefully they will be up on this site very soon.

That is amazing that you had a cam-corder back in the mid 80s, they were so expensive, and that's why it is so hard to find footage of rides like "If You Had Wings", etc, and "If You Could Fly" is even more rare because it was short lived.

So how did the ''If You Had Wings" footage come out Marni? I question that because I am only to used to the fuzzy dark 80s footage of rides, and I was wondering if you lucked out?

Ooops - I wish I had ...Wings! You misread my thread - I have done 5 Futureworld videos, unfortunatley not ..Wings. I`ve also done Illuminations (the original show) - it is already on this site (WDWMagic). Everything I shot was in June 1990 with an SVHS camcorder (the type you wore on your shoulder... thinking back I wonder how they let me film half the attractions I did!)

Hopefully, my other vids (Energy, SE, Horizons, JII and WoM) will be available here very soon...

I've just got another one of my brilliant ideas! Why not take the EPCOT Center Preview vid, and combine Martin's ride footage into it as well!
Ex: "To make today's dreams for EPCOT tomorrow's reality for everyone...Here, you'll reach for new Horizons. A specticatular oddesy into the future. Where you'll discover the envisioned technologies of the 21st century, and beyond. Here you'll visit a city of tomorrow desert farm, space colony, and undersea city." Reach for New Horizons (Early Version '77) is being played. After the song, before you hear the the "We're Almost Ready" song, put Martin's Horizons footage in.
The same will be with all the other pavilions except for the Space Pavilion.
Anyone like my idea?
