Extended Stay Help!

Ok so I had the plesent suprise last night when I found out that it is cheaper to fly out on a Monday and not Sunday night, that suprise was even more exciting when I discovered that it was still cheaper to stay an extra day in disney! And with that logic it did not take much convincing the fiancee to extend our honeymoon!!!

The problem comes in as we had booked our 7days 6night Stat thew a DVC rental site as well as the dinning plan. We bought our 7day tickets from undercover tourist, and our memory maker from disney... We want to make a 1 night reservation at art of animation with disney. That would be our last day there.

My questions are first since we have the dinning plan we may have snacks or quick service credits left. I understand that they are good until 11:59pm day of checkout, of the original resort do they remain active even if we check into AoA? Second we want to collect the magic bands and since we will have 2 different reservations will we be able to get two sets of magic bands. Is it possible to move our tickets and dinning plan info and memory maker from our first set of bands to the ones for AoA? I do not want to have to have 2 bands on at once. Would it be easier to just have the first set and add the AoA resie to that? Third dose Disney still transfer bags between resorts? So when we make the move to AoA can we leave our luggage at AKL after check out and then let disney move it toAoA for us to pick up? And finally how do I make the magical express reservations with a split stay?

Normally I would not be so worried about everything but we are renting DVC for the first time, and it is the first time we would be doing a split stay! While we are excited to be adding another day to our honeymoon I just don't want our last day to be more of a headache than a relaxing day!!! Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Yes the snack credits will remain active until midnight even if you check in to AOA. You will not have to move tickets etc... to your other magic bands as that is tied to your MDE account. In other words your bands are universal, you can use any band associated with your MDE account. I am not sure about the handling of your baggage between resorts but I think Disney will transport it. Magical Express shouldn't be any issue, just change your departure date. You can call Disney and do a departure only associated with your AOA reservation . Others may have simpler explanations to offer but in other words don't stress it. It should be a smooth transition. And congrats on renting DVC. I rent my points to others from 3 different contracts and and my renters always tell me how much it saves them and how they are treated just like owners. Have a great honeymoon!

Thanks so much for the reply! What you said about the magic bands makes perfect sense! As for renting DVC great bargain we saved so much, I did not even know about it until a member hear told me to look it up! So glad we decided to do that! Thanks for the help!
