Extended Evening Hours Really a Hit Now Only a Deluxe Perk

I have stayed at deluxe resorts, but mostly moderates. As I am getting older my fun in the evening is dinner and then shopping at night in Downtown Disney (Sorry just an old habit). We like going to the parks when special shows for Halloween and such are occurring. Other than that, if this is a special perk for staying at a Deluxe then I see no issue with that.
What I see is that it's up to you as a personal choice as to what you want and of course can afford. I also look at it as an age factor as well. Dinner then shopping and maybe some ice cream is great for us now because we enjoy that. We stay on average 7 to 10 days and get to ride the attractions that must do for us or are new. Other than that, I see nothing but a good perk to stay at a Deluxe but also look at it for all that I said.

WDW has so much to do and enjoy, for every age. I am turning 61 the end of the year. Those days of going on the same ride multiple times is over. I love to go on Spaceship Earth a couple times during my stay and the Haunted Mansion and yes POTC. Love seeing the fireworks. But we love to go shopping in the evening after a late dinner and look to buy things for our home and for me a new watch. Lastly any shows and now movies and bowling and so on. It is part of the Disney experience as well.

I think when you stay and pay the price at a deluxe resort it should come with some perks. For some they might think this is not fare and others will agree. I think it is also a good incentive to save a little more and experience it at least once or twice.

But you are paying to have this perk at a Deluxe which is not even offered nightly. It's great if your stay overlaps with an extended night...but for many people it will not. Completely bogus for them.
But you book a whole week you get both! $teal of a deal! They’re practically giving it away!

Family of 4 in a Deluxe vs 4 MNSSP/MVMCP Tickets?

Which is the cheaper/better value?
Cheaper/ value? Well it isnt cheaper but I'd go with the MNSSHP for better value with what youd be getting since you have the kids. Costume them up, get character M& G's, huge haul of candy if you allow the kids to have it, snacks, parade thats fantastic, great fireworks and shows. It is an event that you should do if you have the chance.

Agreed of going for full Pixie Experience; no doubt Hard Ticket Party is the way to go…

Going just to experience rides? Cheaper route would be the Deluxe + xPerk….
