There have been reports of explosions in Bagdad, the capital city of Iraq. I think the war has begun. They say that troops have launched attacks in Southern Iraq as well. The war has begun.

That is a ridiculous statement.
It is a HUGE priority for America to make sure they don't cause civilian casualties.

By the way, when George Bush gave his speech, he said that Sadaam Husien is using innocent civilians in Iraq as body gaurds for the soldiers. That is sick!!!!!!

Saddam killed 5,000 Kurds when he released a chemical weapon on them when he got word that an uprising in that area was being planned. That was 15 years ago. We have waited 12 years to go back into Iraq and finish what we started.
So that's why he dropped that bomb on them. By the way, they say for the body gaurds, they are also using women and children. That is beyond sick and cruel.

I know a person who lived there and he says that if the US attacks, the Iraqi people will take up arms and fight against Saddam. He says they HATE him!! Well, I'd hate him too if I lived there and he raped my wife and then gassed my family...

Exactly. They have grown sick of it. The only reason they haven't overthrown him by now is that they live in fear for their families. When you go after Saddam, he not only goes after you but your families and friends as well.

This is pure evil we're dealing with! It's ignorance that's gotten us this far that we have to go in and drop bombs to solve this problem. As you can see, ignorance has gotten us this far, now don't be ignorant and say that Saddam is totally ok and is just a problem for his OWN country. We're in this war, whether we like it or not. Let's all grab each other's hands and unify at least for the american lives fighting for us in Iraq!

The only reason France, Germany, Russia and China don't support us is that Iraq owes them money and they are crazy enough to believe that if they prevent the war then they will get their money back.

i have seen footage on mtv of iraquis asking why the u.s. is doing this to them. this is not an easy war to be completely for or against.
