?

what do you mean you may walk away broke but not disappointed?

Most times when I leave broke I feel like crap because I know the fun is over and yet, I am broke.

A spring breaker i.e. college student does not have a lot of dough to travel with. I was there once as well. And DCL being the most expensive, I can see where a student might look towards Princess Cruise or what not. The DCL will break most people. Therefore broke. But, having experienced DCL several times I can say,"You will not be disappointed." Therefore fun and happy. There are no casino's to drain your wallet, some nice lounges though. Something else a spring breaker may wish to consider...

Yeah....cruises are outrageous, but fun!

The good news is, you have 6 lower-priced categories to check out too! How did they compare???

Is that the 4, 7, or new 10-day itinerary?

Even though 8 grand sounds like alot of dough (and it IS!), that only breaks down to $2000 a person, which is not that bad for a 7 day cruise in THAT categroy!

I bet the lower cabin prices will sound MUCH better! Remember...you will only be in the room to shower and sleep. No need to overdo it on the room unless you are on your honeymoon making babies 24/7!

For Spring Break, get the cheapest rooms you can get, because you'll need the money you save for beers and frozen drinks by the pool. THAT'S where the party will be! :animwink:

:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

(EDITED FOR MATH ERROR....ONLY 4 PEOPLE....NOT 6....MAKING THE COST OVER $2K PER PERSON....PRETTY STEEP!!!)

Well, Royal Caribbean and Carnival were $5,000 cheaper for the same time. And I've traveled with DCL and loved, but wold never pay that much, by the way, the cheapest room avaliable was $5,990.

YIKES!

I wouldn't pay it either! Spring Break EVERYWHERE is always a victim of limited supply and over-demand drving up the prices.

Like I said.......

You just happen to have chosen the most expensive Cruise Line at the most expensive time of year. The funny thing is...the ship will be sold out anyway!

I'll be back again during Value Season!

P.S. I originally thought you had 6 people, but it's only 4 people in CATEGORY 6....that makes a big difference. I corrected my original post to reflect that. Just curious...you still didn't say how many days the cruise was for???? For 4 days , it's WAY expensive.....for 10, it's a pretty good deal!

GOOD LUCK!!

Its the 7 night western caribbean cruise. I think instead we are going on Royal Caribbean for 7 nights and only pay $3,000. I think thats a much better deal.
