I just got a quote for my spring break 2004 onboard the Disney Magic. A category 6 cost $8,200 for four people, isn't that a bit rediculous

Yeah....cruises are outrageous, but fun!
The good news is, you have 6 lower-priced categories to check out too! How did they compare???
Is that the 4, 7, or new 10-day itinerary?
Even though 8 grand sounds like alot of dough (and it IS!), that only breaks down to $1,300 a person, which is not that bad for a 7 day cruise!
I bet the lower cabin prices will sound MUCH better! Remember...you will only be in the room to shower and sleep. No need to overdo it on the room unless you are on your honeymoon making babies 24/7!
For Spring Break, get the cheapest rooms you can get, because you'll need the money you save for beers and frozen drinks by the pool. THAT'S where the party will be! :animwink:

Well, Royal Caribbean and Carnival were $5,000 cheaper for the same time. And I've traveled with DCL and loved, but wold never pay that much, by the way, the cheapest room avaliable was $5,990.
