Expedition Everest Update: signs of progress.

Not time for ladders and chairs yet.

Bridge building requires equipment that will float better than a ladder.

When work starts on the mountain, I expect to see one doozy of a ladder at work.:animwink:

So thats not the actuall construction of the mountain? how do you know this?

I mean it makes sense cuz that looks awfully small for the mounstrosurous mountain everyone has been talking about? or did they just start to clear the ground?

Looks like a slow construction. I mean I know I am not there in person but in the pictures it seems slow, dosen't it?

I think this are going to be the slowest 2 years of our lifes.

:hurl:

Does anyone own a plane? Maybe snap a few pictures of the construction site from the heavens.

Construction of the bridge is being done first, and the bridge may well open far in advance of Everest.
Only the early site work is going on at the Everest area, at least it was as of a couple weeks ago.
Once vertical construction begins, the mountain will rise pretty quickly. This is the slow part.

End of August I'll get some photos.

Yeah I know about the no fly zone. but if Im not mistaken it's about a radius of 3 nautical miles around MK. You can still get close enough to see a little detail.

Chek this pics out. Taken on december 2002.

I have never been to animal kindom, So maybe someone could point out where the contruction is going to take place.

The no-fly is just around the MK and is only active during 'higher' terror levels. Right now you can fly over the MK (but of course Disney does not let the public know this to make them feel more secure)
