Expedition Everest opening date

January seems really soon. Almost comically so. From what I have heard from my AK source, they want it to officially open on Earth Day or Ak's birthday (dates above). It still has a long way to go. The photos only show the outside. I highly doubt anyone will be on it before April. There- my two cents. =D

There will be people on it well before April. But it won't be officially open until that special date.

And for everyone that ignored my previous post at the top of this page: 05 has passed already. Take that however you want.

Perhaps you could have titled your post as a question rather than a statement (or announcement). By posting "EE Opening Date" rather than "EE Opening Date?" or "Will there be an EE Opening Date?" you have put an unnecessary burden on your post. A burden it apparently couldn't carry. Because it did not tell us a date.

Ok so i dont want to be a pest but i have one of the usual questions, sorta.

So my question is, will disney announce a specific day that Expedition Everest will officially open on? And what is a educated guess on how far ahead they will announce?

No Disney wont tell us when it's opening. they'll just open it with out any fanfare or anything. They'll make us guess if it's open or not.

If you're visiting WDW next summer it will be open...
And YES... they will announce it, the even have a commercial already made for it...

Actually, I heard they were not even going to label the entrance to the ride. Also, they will post a cast member in the vicinity that will respond "move along, nothing to see here" when you ask him/her if the ride is open or not.
