I agree that Guardians is a better physical ride, but boy is EE themed well! For the sole reason I have to go with EE, it’s just visually stunning!I wouldn't even compare these two. Expedition Everest is a more conventional coaster, and it's fun, but Guardians is a very different ride. I love both, but like Guardians more.
Have you ridden BTMR at DL? They are the same ride, but the DL version has lots of FX in the climax (final hill in the mountain) that either don't work, or don't exist here. Honestly, A fairer comparison would be Expedition Everest and Matterhorn Bobsleds. In that event I'd go for Matterhorn. Even though the thing was built in 1959, it has updated FX that are pretty cool and it's just damn fun! LOL!I agree that Guardians is a better physical ride, but boy is EE themed well! And for the exact same reason, I’d vote BTMRR over Guardians as my favorite roller coaster ride. The ride itself might not be as good, but BTMRR is just amazing to me.
I have! Grizzly River Run and the Matterhorn are the main reasons I want to go back. I don’t really have a strong preference on the BTMRR effects at Disneyland, and they weren’t that memorable for me, so I find both to be about equal in that regard.Have you ridden BTMR at DL? Those BTMR FX make all the difference for me. LOL! Grizzly River Run is a "standard" river rapids ride, but they did it good at DCA. Love that ride.I have! I agree, the photo opportunity from the bridge over ASIA, with E.E backdrop is stunning, that attraction was so well thought out, for me its one of Disney's best ever , even when your not riding it, you can see the final drop as you walk round , and hear the sounds echo through the mountain, simply brilliant Imagineering.Everest is a great ride to guests, who don't even ride it.
And thats the point, you can ride E.E and sometimes literally walk straight on after , esp at night, love it!!Guardians is my favorite Disney ride on either coast currently.
Still love EE. I rode it seven times the other day.
