So with the extended closure, and the struggle to find money for PatF, does this mean the budget is going to be permanently cut for the hair tie removals and bird on a stick?

Here's one video of the completely strobe-less, potentially yeti-less tunnel. Also of note, the work lights being on under the track right as you enter the final tunnel.

They're never going to fix the Yeti. How do you put that expense down on a spreadsheet and justify it? Even at some point in the future where they actually have to replace the track (a decade or two away - maybe more; Look at Space Mountain - it's more). If they had to pull apart the entire side of the mountain to replace the track, they're still not going to fix the Yeti. It doesn't pay anything more back being active than it does having a strobe on it. It's never going to happen.
