Many people recommend a monopod for night shots at WDW.
It's hard to lug around and i feel silly pretending it's a walking stick.
In reality, a good night shot should require the proper settings (this takes a book on photography and some practice), a tripod, and a squeezey thingy (can't for the life of me remember what they're called, but they let you trigger the camera mechanisms without pushing the button, thus not causing the camera to wiggle).
I'm at the moment trying to hunt down a good mini tripod and using the self-timer with the trashcan technique because it may take a while but is less arduous then the monopod or using the squeezy thingy.
