Exp. Everest Boat ?

Could someone please tell me what the boat pictured in May 2nd's update of Exp. Everest is for?

Isn't that an old Discovery cruise boat/Radio Disney boat/ charactor boat?

The picture, if you look close, has someone singing and playing guitar on it, I think that is new entertainment

Maybe they'll bring back the Discovery Cruise boats as a form of mass transportation to Expedition Everest!

someones post a few weeks ago said that they were going to use the boats as entertainment venue--musicians playing--I think thats what I read (not transportation for guests)

Yes I can confirm it is for entertainment. With the opening of the new walk way, they decided they needed wsome kind of entertainment for guests walking along that area. They boat comes out and has various characters and muscicians onboard.

On our recent trip the boat was in operation. There was a band playing music and Mickey and Minnie waving to the crowd. A little anoying and loud while your trying to eat lunch at The Flame Tree, but my kids loved it.

although it may never happen (and probably won't), wouldn't it be cool if this was the way that gueests had to get to expedition everest? It would be the ultimate themeing experience! This area is only accessible by river boat, then walking, then the mountain itself! It would make it seem even more secluded! Ah, well it was just a dream!

A dream!??!:lol: More like a nightmare! Because of Conservation Station's location and because it's only accessable by train, I never go there. I'd never want that with Everest!
