i said indoor theater. i was corrected today at work. it is still going to be an outdoor stage, just with an endor bunker facade. the endor village is NOT going away. this is just adding to the endor atmosphere that is already in place. TRUST ME. I have seen artwork, and have had it confirmed by ICON managers.

Explain how an Endor facade makes sense if you are no longer boarding the endor express with nonstop service to endor? It's the same reason they got rid of the Endor store at the end of the ride and replaced it.

The Imagineers have plans for the new Star Tours and all according changes will be made with existing structures in mind (including the new Endor Bunker). By your logic, why would they install an Endor bunker in a location themed to any other planet? Endor isn't going away- I along with others can (and have) confirmed this.

Tatooine Traders came along during the release of Episdoe I.

You can actually see some remnants of the Endor Bunker.

The facade is really a collection of movie sets rather than an indicator of where your traveling.

It is more a representation of the entire saga with the AT-AT, Endor, and Tatooine. It was even more so when they had the Snowspeeder and Skiff on display outside the attraction.

I don't think the Endor set is going anywhere unless they really change the theme of the attraction.

If they do, they could leave it up or change it. I think they could do it either way.

And thats the way it should be. All they need to add with the refurb is a giant rancor out side. Sweet!

Tatooine Traders came along during the release of Episdoe I.

The reason they built Tatooine Traders is because at the time, the new Star Tours was imminent or so the imagineers thought, and they started preping for it by building a new shop and rolling out the new merchandise that said Tatooine Experess.

The new Star Tours story was that you are now flying to Yavin, get sidetracked and end up on Tatooine smack in the middle of a pod race and at the end barely survive by crashing into the sand and bashing against the bleechers...as you depart the exit area was themed to the tatooine arena and you exit into...the Tatooine traders store.

This was back in 1999/2000 and that idea has been scraped. The new Star Tours is going to be something different but im hoping it still involves the Star Tours corporation.
