Trip Report Everything was AWESOME!

So everything was awesome! Let me share...
We were staying at the Contemporary from 9th to 16th October and had a blast. We checked in with the best CM before we headed to our garden wing room where we dropped our bags and immediately headed out to MK. Woo hoo!!!!
It was 5:30 by this time so we just had time to use our FP+ to meet Mickey

take a tour on the train and get that first castle pic before heading back to the hotel for dinner at Contempo Cafe - delish!! Dreaming about the peanutbutter pie still...

What a start to our trip!

Our first day and we headed to Hollywood studios.We HAD to do RnR first - the youngest finally reached the height requirement and was desperate to get on that limo!! He LOVED it. By the way, "we" are me, Tinkerkelle, my DH, J who's 11 and B who's 8.

Anyway, we rode RnR then headed to ToT, another family favourite. We spent the morning on the rides. They may have closed a lot but we're soooo looking forward to seeing what they'll do with the Star Wars area. We followed Star Tours through the Hoth world and then down into the waters of Naboo, if I remember right? I'm rubbish at TSMM and was soundly thrashed by both boys and the DH!!

The afternoon was wisely spent seeing all the fab shows. Frozen was new to us. The boys thought it was "meh!" but here they are looking somewhat impressed with the snow? (I thought it was great and I definitely sang along!)

They did think Indy was amazing, as usual, and "endured" Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid for dear old mum!
Dinner at Hollywood and Vine was great - sooo much food! B almost fainted with delight when he saw the chocolate fountain! The preferred viewing seats at Fantasmic with the dining package was a real bonus.

The boys made their own lightsabres and enjoyed a small battle as we left the park after a brilliant day.
