Here too. I keep battling Marc on whether to put the AC on...

Ha!
We just had the same argument.
I must have said "It's hot in here!" about 10 times this morning.
Finally George said if I'm so hot why don't I just put the AC on.
But I won't, because those electric bills are killers.
I know I'll be breaking down soon, though.
They're forecasting in the 90s by the weekend.

I'll probably wait till Cars comes out on DVD before I see it. We only see one movie a year, two tops. I'm saving up for Pirates. :D

I can't wait for Pirates!
We own the first one, and we've watched it many, many times!

Now that Marc's home, he wants the AC up during the day. We have a programmable thermostat, and it usually turns the AC off during the times we're not home. But now he's going to be home, and locked in his stuffy office, and he won't open the window. He has to use the AC. And I'm just shaking in my boots about what our bill will look like next month when the Gas and electric rates are hiked up by 70%.

All I know is, that my dryer's going to be put out to pasture, and I'm taking all my clothes to my mom's to be put on the line to dry. I can't afford running my dryer all day on the weekends.

It's a shame to have to pick and chose what electricity and gas we use.
I feel so sorry for senior citizens who swelter, sometimes to the point of tragedy, because they can't afford the bills.

When I used to have a backyard, I loved to hang out bedding.
Nothing like sheets dried in the fresh air.
Everything else. . .I love my dryer!
