I have a tradition:
As we walk through the archway under the railroad station I always pause, grab George's arm and take a deep breath. The we walk out into Town Square together. It's like coming home!

I never get tired of that first view of Town Square - gives me goosebumps! ...and to think that you'll see it all decorated!

I know.
George is a Disney purist. He never wants to see the World altered in any way. Hated the "cake castle" (who didn't). Would hate HM to get the Christmas overlay. Couldn't stand the whole Stitch nonsense! And didn't much care for the 50th Anniversary gold decorations. (I thought they were pretty, he said that's not what the castle is supposed to look like.)
So, anyway, the idea of seeing everything decorated for Christmas was a definite turn-off for him. But. . .I can tell he's starting to get excited. He's gonna come back with a boatload of pictures and videos. Indeed!

I can understand his POV, I totally hated the birthday thing, and the mirror, although the other things didn't bother me as much. I'd still love to see the parks all decorated though, and all those things I've watched from the Christmas parades to actually see in person would be awesome!

Did you see the Food Channel special with Raven Simone?
It focused on all the holiday decorations made from food at WDW.
Amazing!

Yes, they're there from the 27th to the first. I made all their ADR's for them, and got some really good ones. If they stick to what I planned for them, they should have a great time!
