The detail that WDI have gone to on this attraction is incredible. Here is Joe Rhode visiting a monk in Nepal to understand how the buildings are colored using natural resources. These methods are being used for the ultimate realism at Animal Kingdom.

See this is what happens when you leave imaginers alone and let them do what they do best, you get an attraction that will be unparalleled anywhere in the world.

Road trip to Nepal....now that is immersion. Let's hope it's contageous.

Let's hope that when they leave out a few pieces of bamboo on the queue, to pay for this trip, no one screams and yells over them "cutting corners". :animwink:

:p

I'm sure LEE's new avatar is going to be a Nepalese Monk. Let's see how long that takes.

Nah...I like the "E-foot" logo better. I have a shirt with the logo on it...gets quite a few glances in the parks.
Somehow...a monk just doesn't have the same effect.

Thanks for disappointing the ENTIRE WDWMagic Community. I find the "foot" painfully boring. But then again, I'm from the school of "MORE IS MORE" mentality.

I WANT MONKS WITH LARGE EARRINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure nobody went back to the Stone Age to do themeing for Primevil Whirl.

When an attraction is done properly it is well worth the wait.

Man, EE just might be the best ride at WDW once things are said and done. Makes me wonder what other tricks these Imagineers have up their sleeves??? Lol...

Just imagine what the budget for landscaping must be. I hope they put enough into the landscaping as they have with the rest of the attraction.

This is looking phenomenal. I'd have to imagine that the track itself is complete, or just about complete. The rockwork seems to be coming along nicely, it's tough to see it all with the scaffolding but some of the closeups really show the extensive detail.

I like the "helix dive" into the Bamboo forest. And add the old telegraph wires to hold the bamboo up. THIS is Disney at its best!

It's interesting to see the reactions of all of you who were traumatized by all the cutbacks with all the dissapointing past attractions and are now presented a sort of return to glory with this new attraction :D. Although I'm pretty sure most of you will be complaining about something about the ride again when it opens. don't mean to be mean...sorry :)

nice pictures by the way.
