Hello everyone, I was at AK today (3/19) and was heading towards EE when I noticed that there was a train stopped at the top of the chain lift. First time that I have personally seen EE have techincal difficulties. I was talking to someone who was on the train and they said that when they were evacuated from the train that they went into the mountain and took an elevator to the bottom. Can anyone confirm this or have pics? Thanks

Yea, that guy you talked too wasn't on the train that got evac'd. Know why? There's no elevator in the building/mountain. If you're coming down, you're walking. (I've asked EE CMs and Imagineers who worked on Everest if there is an elevator like the Matterhorn, and they've all said no, due to how the buliding moves.

hey everyone...
was there yesterday and saw the broken down EE....
don't have the software to download the pic i took with my cellphone....
it was closed for about an hour, then ran again.....
first time riding it.... LOVED it... (and it seemed the yeti was having an A show)...although i have to admit, when the train was doing the second (big) climb, i was a bit nervous...having seen another train stuck halfway up only an hour ago....it was great, though, and can't wait to ride again....
by the way, AK was PACKED.... luckily, i arrived at about 330 pm and the crowds were mostly headed to the exit....
off to MK now...
