Everest at Night

So I finally broke down and watched the video today. Have to say I PERSONALLY was a little underwhelmed, but hoping that will be good when I see it in person (since I am in the "disappointment" mood now). I do have a question though. Since DAK has been extended hours-wise a bit, I am wondering how this beast will look at night. I really think, like BTMRR, this will take on a whole new personality come nightfall. Wondered if anyone else had thought this and if the lighting package details (i.e. inside and around) have been seen at all.

After riding EE... I decided to watch said video. I think it's an understatement to say that the video doesn't do the ride justice. You HAVE to see it in person. There's nothing like seeing the view from the top of the mountain, feeling the cold air as you ride through the snow caves, pulling Gs while going backwards, and seeing the GINORMOUS Yeti in person.

That is one thing I would like to see that I haven't seen yet: pictures of Expedition Everest at night. I've seen a few small grainy photos, but no high quality pics. Here's hoping some show up soon. :)

Thanks for the pics, judging by them, it does look much more interesting. To me, most all coasters are better at night just because you can see the whole park lit up, but I'm referring to regular theme parks, so it might be totally different at wdw.

Has anyone heard of anything placed into the attraction portions itself? I really think the ice caves, back helix, etc. could have some great potential. I wish previews were going on now at night, but wondered if anyone had heard information about that from someone else.

I have been on the ride at night and let me tell you it is even more amazing in the evening. The inside portions of the mountain become pitch black and its awesome to not be able to see where you are going.

Well, they are still working on fully sealing off the mountain...it will be much darker inside by April.
