Thanks Steve. I like the idea of 2 different story lines for the Fast Pass and Standby lines. Sounds like though, some people are going to want to use the standby line at some point to see the different queue and storyline.

Thanks for the link! I'm looking forward to seeing the queue and all the details. Another allusion to "leaving guests cold" so I'm wondering just HOW cold it's going to be!

"Expedition Everest will be unique among Disney Park attractions in that Guests choosing the Fast Pass or standby queues will pass through very different areas and have different experiences."

This means I'll have to ride it at least twice !!!

Very interesting article...I really liked the small detail of setting up different "stories" in the queue...and as the details keep coming out...this is sure shaping up to be the best ride Disney has ever created.

Thanks for the heads up, Steve! :D

Add me to the list of people that think it's great that they set up two different paths for the separate queues. That's just a great idea. And I liked reading about the pagoda that they have which had been made by Nepalese woodcarvers. That's really cool and impressive. This is just going to be fantastic.

I was thinking the same thing when I read this last night.

BTW guys, the 80/112-ft debate might have been a simple mater of listing the wrong thing at the wrong place. I think the 112-ft reference is to the B-lift (the one that goes through the temple) and the 80-ft is the accurate stat for the drop. SO excited for the opening!
