Ever revisit a restaurant and wish you had skipped?

The Coral Reef. Great time the first time around, underwhelming the second. I think it had everything to do with where we were seated the second time: crappiest seats in the house, shoved in a corner in the back, as far from the aquarium as we could get. In hindsight, we should have refused the table and waited for a better one to open up, as the location made it impossible for us to enjoy the one thing that sets Coral Reef apart from a typical restaurant - we just couldn't see anything. The kids were actually bored.

Only one for me would be the Restaurant Akershus before they princessed it up. Everything just tasted off and it was weird how they served everything. I like how their menu sounds now, though it is a princess thing and nothing sounds authentic. There is good Norwegian food, disney did not know how to cook it.

I've got a couple. The one that stands out was T-Rex, we absolutely loved it our first time in 2011 and all agreed with had to go again in 2012. It was nowhere near as good, and service was terrible. I even re-ordered the flatbread app that I LOVED the first time and it was actually kind of gross the 2nd time.

Raglan Road is another that we loved the first time, enjoyed the 2nd time but the 3rd time the service was some of the worst we've ever had on property and food should have tasted way better for how long we waited.

Usually our repeats don't let us down.

My feeling has always been that they think a cheese plate and french ambiance is enough to pull the wool over peoples eyes. I have had good French cuisine and this is not it. We tried it three times hoping that we had just stumbled upon a bad night in the kitchen but after three times I think we will steer clear from here on out.

The problem with Chef's de France is that is used to be really great. It was mandatory eating. The roasted duck breast & leg confit used to be really good. It's really easy to see a place deteorate when they continue to serve dishes, but let the quality crash (or more likely, deliberately crash it since they apparantly think Joe Diningplan wants microwaved duck breast with flavorless sauce and unseasoned vegetables).
