Ever had to be evacuated from a ride

The only ride I've been evacuated from was CoP years ago. For some reason, we didn't move onto the next scene, just stayed where we were while the scene repeated again. The animatronics weren't working properly either, which was a little creepy! Partway through the scene, we just got evacuated from the back of the theatre. Nothing too exciting!

I have never been evacuated from a ride. The closest I came was when the Spiderman ride at Universal was running with little to no special effects, eventually arriving back at the station. I was allowed to ride again right away.

A couple years ago I got evacuated from BTM; our train stopped in the earthquake scene and we had to walk underneath the mountain. Strange to see it hollow underneath... They made sure nobody had cameras, cell phones, etc.
Yeah they were always repeating in a strict voice no cellphones, cameras, etc. but we had a group of teens in front of us and they didn't really care so they recorded most of it. Never got caught though so...

I was once evacuated from IASM... this was probably around 2004. We were stuck in the jungle room and all the boats were backing up. I remember complaining because I didn't understand why it was taking so long to get a couple of boats emptied. Three years later when I did the Disney College Program I was trained on IASM and had to learn everything that goes into exacuating that attraction. I'll never complaing again LOL.

Yeah June 2013 it was a torrential downpour going to be a hurricane and the only thing to do was ride spiderman. We went on once and with everyone huddled in the rain decided to go on again. We got around the corner and then it stopped....lightening had struck the building. We were evacuated and luckily didn't have to leave the gift shop. Then my parents came to the rescue with pochos.:)

This was about 4 years ago. We had just exited the light tunnel on Space Mountain, went down the little drop, around the sharp hairpin turn and then came to a stop. The lights went on and there we sat. For a good 15 minutes if not more. Of course I didn't have my good camera with, so I just snapped some with my junky slider phone that I had. Since it is normally a quick ride, you don't notice how cramped it is in there. But about 10 minutes in, I started feeling it in my hips from being scrunched in there. Finally after getting the people on the lower trains out, they came up and got us. I got to walk down inside a little ways then we got into and elevator for the rest of the ride. I would have liked to walk the whole way.

This was all caused by someone who wore a hat on the ride that flew off and tripped a sensor.

We ended up with a FP to use on any ride. We went back and used it on Space later that night. It definitely wasn't the same ride after seeing the inside all lit up.

Test Track car went crazy at the start of the ride. We had to depart it and got on another one.
The People Mover came to a complete stop, I didn't mind it however, we were in the shade facing the Castle and watched the stage show going on. We didn't have to evac it.

Happened to us last fall on Splash just before the drop into the Laughing Place. We waited a while then they came to get everyone out of the boats and took us out back down the stairs. It was cool but some kids kept leaning on the set and taking pictures and were getting yelled at by the CMs which made it more awkward than it should have been.

Wait, space has steps next to the entire track incase it stops? I was wondering how they get people off of that ride.

No never but would die if Tower of Terror broke with me on it, or any rollercoaster as I would be terrified that another train would come crashing into the back of us.

My family and I actually got stuck on ToT one year. I am not sure what year it was, a few years back. As we were up in the air and coming down I heard a loud noise that was unusual and within a couple of seconds we jerked to a stop, up in the air. Not sure how high we were but I could see one of the open windows and could see the sky outside. I tried to stay calm, mostly for my kids, but at the same time prayed it would not just fall. It took quite a while to get us down. They had to manually bring the elevator down for us to get out. Besides being stuck up in the air I was worried about missing our fast pass time slot for Toy Story. After we were finally brought down we received fast passes for Toy Story and I explained to the CM's that we already had fast passes for Toy Story but the time had passed. The CM explained to me to just go to Toy Story, explain the situation to the CM there and they should let us ride anyways. He also let us keep the fast passes he already handed to us for Toy Story. So we did what the CM instructed and we were able to ride Toy Story twice in a row with both fast passes. That was really nice.

Maelstrom - as the boat backs out so it appears it's about to fall down the cliff. That's the moment it broke down.

I get nervous everytime that boat goes backwards now

Back in Auguest 95 when Hurricane Erin was on its way to Central FL we got stuck in The Living Seas when it was Seabase Alpha. We got stuck in the hydrolator because all the power went out. My father and some guys were able to force the door open and they Evac'ed us out a side door. Turns out Disney lost power because Miami was trying to pull power from Orlando and accidentally pulled from Disney instead. (at least that's what we were told at the time).

On that trip I got to ride out an unplanned attraction. A hurricane. :jawdrop:

We had to be evacuated from Haunted Mansion back in 2003 the week after Christmas. The parks were open late so it was about 1145. We weren't that far into the ride so I didn't see anything too cool when we walked out. Thank goodness we didn't get stuck near the spiders because it was about 30 of sitting before they came to get us. On that same trip there was a slight delay while we were on splash mtn but no one was evacuated. I blamed it on the heavy traffic times during that week. Lots of people and parks open late due to EMH. We actually had a great time being stuck.

Heading for the great escape.
Several, some highly amusing, some farcical and worrying had their been a genuine emergency. Still never had an evac from space mountain though.

We got stuck on Space Mountain last fall for about 30 minutes. We weren't evacuated, but they turned on the lights. It was really neat seeing everything in there.

The next day, Splash had been having issues all day. We had FPs, and I had eaten a little too much that day. My stomach was feeling iffy to put it mildly. The whole time, I was praying, "Please don't break down. Please don't break down."

Never evacuated but got stuck on Splash at the base of the last hill for 40 minutes. Got stuck on TTA for about half an hour. It was cloudy and we were facing the castle so it wasn't all bad
