Evening weather in October

Hi guys.

Me and hubby fly out on October 1, is it slightly cooler in the evenings or will it be pretty warm? Just thinking about what to pack ...

It's usually still warm. I would suggest going on the weather channel website and do a 10 day projected weather forecast about 4 days before you leave. That will help in seeing how the weather is and what you might need to change anything you packed. You can tell that whatever the projected low temp of the day is will be in the evening. I always do this and I always have the right clothing with me.

The beginning of October is still pretty warm. I always have a light sweater or jacket with me because the air-conditioning can be a bit chilly, even in the summer. I have this totes anorak that is great; it folds up into a little square, and can double as a raincoat; I keep it in my purse.

Hi, I'll be flying out on the 7th October for two weeks. I went the same time two years ago and for an English guy the weather was really hot. We had one day of rain, very easy to spot the tourist, because me and my partner was standing out in it.

Come on people.. Am I gonna get a tan out there or do I have to get a spray tan before I fly out?

I usually go in October and the weather has always been good for me, the odd day of rain, but for me it's quite welcome as it's been to hot.

Well as of 10:00pm (22:00) tonight, it was still 80+F outside (24C or so).

Now, we've got Ophelia helping with that, so we've had warmer weather than usual these past several days, but it's still not going to cool down much at all.

Expect it to be around 75F at night when you're here (20C or so).

Last year in Oct. (coming from Minnesota) it was a perfect 70-85 degree weather and the pools were awesome in WDW.
Shorts and tennis shoes all the time we were there. I got alot of sun last year, im bringing sunblock this year and a nice shade hat if your head burns easy.
Drink alot of fluids (water) when out and about, its a must to stay hydrated.

Didn't go last year, but the year before, I went the same time as i'm going this year and we had just the one day of rain which was really nice as it was so hot, just three weeks to go and i'm there. Got to get me a supply of those sticky crispie things. :slurp:
