Evening Extra Magic Hours Q

Trying to figure out a time that might be best for me to go solo into Magic Kingdom to get some reps in on some of the bigger rides.

What is the crowd like on Saturday late night Magic Hours in the MK? Craziness or quiet or somewhere between?

Headed there late-April

Last night they were open from 1-3 for EMH and when we left shortly before 1 most rides were 15 minutes or less. Space and Mine Train were the exceptions of course.

When I've gone on a Sat. EMH it starts out crazy buzy but as the night goes on the crowds start to dwindle. All of a sudden you look around and think ... where did they all go? YAAAY I've got the park almost to myself!!! The walkways open up and the lines disappear. I've gotten on rides repeatedly, and even later on in the evenings heading into the last hour the CM's say... do you want to ride again and I dont even have to leave the ride car. The CM's are bored and they start goofing around more with you too. You can do a lot, have a great time ... if staying up later is fine for you.

We have always closed the park we were in. We got to spend a night a MK until 2am two years ago. It was crazy around 11, but by 1230, it really changed. it was quite amazing, getting to be in such a quiet park. I always walk the streets and stores of main street before we leave, and it was very different to stroll through the jewelry store without anyone else in the place at all. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

The later is stays open the better. All of the people with little kids are usually out by 12am. My girls and I stayed till 2 am once and it was great. We pretty much walked on most things.
