oooo I thought of another one that should have been an evacuation.

Lets just say I was dragged on a ride, with 8 rooms, and I got stuck in the "white room" for 35 minutes.

I wanted to cry. I might have, I have blurred it out of my memory....

I was on the HM at MK when we were in the room with the ladies head in the crystal ball. We were about to go up the lift hill when the ride just stopped. We kept hearing the annoucment about it was stalled due to spirted ghosts. After about 10 minutes of that the work lights came on and CM's escorted us off the ride. Lucky for them it was the off season and the ride had only a fewpeople on it.

My fiancee got stuck on the ToT in the "5th dimension" room. The car just stopped, and the effects just kept going. Eventually the work lights came on, and they had to take the regular elevator back down.

She said the best part (and weirdest) of that room is the fact that the floors are glass so it felt strange to walk on it.

Cool!! Definitely a small world after all! I've been here for about 3.5 years now. Lived in Rockingham before.

Two Times at Disneyland.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND
------------------------------

We were half way through the ride and the ride stopped... 3 seconds later.. The lates came on.. 3 min later we were walked through the ride.. THE LONG WAY HAHAHHA>.

That was fun looking at all the " gizmos"..

Indiana Jones
------------------

We were at the top almost into the MAIN Show room.. and We stopped... We were evaced.. THE SHORT WAY.. :( and then left.. When the CM's came i asked them what the heck was wrong..

" It happens that a article , book bag, was caught under the hook under the EMV." Meaning it got stuck and stoped the ride.. SO we were waiting 20 min so they could pull that sucker from the under carage and then restart haha..

We rode again and loved it ..

When i have to do evacs, turning the worklights on always freaks people out during the Snow Fall sequence.

And they love being spun around in circles till the turntables are back in the proper position.

I was on the Skyway when it broke down once. I hung in the air for it seemed like an eternity. Fortunately, I had a choice of rescue: big tall ladder, jump onto a trampoline, jump into the 20K Lagoon.

I've been in two Simulated monorail evacuations before... about every 4-6 months, Reedy Creek will come out and do a mock evacuation, so that we can test our proceedure to see if it needs improvements. The first time was on the Epcot spur line, during the day time. (This is the connecting track at the TTC that goes from Express to Epcot)

The second time was at 4am, at the highest point between the MK and the GF. My oh my... that was quite the thrill... The way they did it, was you went through the hatch, to the roof, walked down to car 5, down, into the car, and then out the regular door, and down the firetruck ladder.

I was under the impression that it is always done at that spot on the MK line... maybe I'm mistaken?

They tossed up a bungee cord and instructed me how to hook it up to the gondola. They even had a second guy instructing me in spanish. After grabbing any small children by the hand, I jumped. They produced a big pair of scissors and cut me down.;)

Yeah I was there when you did it, Standing right next to Elvis and Jim Morrison, who had Mickey ears on by the way.:)

Of course, they were the ones doing the instructions.

I should have never drank the water in It's A Small World.

Waited online on Test track for over and hour, then a storm came and they shut down the ride (has anyone seen the mini TV weather moniters they have behind the windows on Test Track? very cool!) Anyway, they gave us passes to go back on w/out a wait line! Very nice of them!:sohappy:

Nope... They've done it at pylon 97, 17, Shop Spur line, Epcot spur line... and perhaps a few other places as well.

The whole point of the evacuation mostly is for Reedy Creek, rather than Monorail CMs. So we usually will pick a new place with different obstacles or challenges. We'll also have simulated guests with ailments, disabilities, etc, to make things more real.
