mmm.. tough question. I would prob go for Spain or Germany.
I put 2 cheeky bets on winners for the group stages so we shall see.

I am Italian-American so Italy. Not sure if they are going to win. They really don't play like they used too. All these new young players suck. They played yesterday against Spain and tied the game 1-1.

Yeah you can never count out the Germans when it comes to these tournaments. I think it is really open this time - anyone could win it.

Well, I guess the last champions league final did prove that Germany does not always win on penalties... But then, that was only Bayern München, not the German team (even though they are largely identical).

But I would not mind Germany winning - after all, they are my national team!!

Our record in shootouts is terrible. Something like lost 7 out of 8 in major tournaments. It has to change sometime!
