Espn acquires nhl rights (let’s hope the games don’t stink this time around)

So this is an interesting deal, as I have been an NHL.tv customer since 2007 it may make me bite at ESPN+ as apparently it somehow folds into that system. Lots of lofty things mentioned in the weeds of this deal. Claims that viewership of the NHL in the US is up 30% among the 18-48 demo. Also apparently the Stanley Cup finals will be on ABC for 4 of the 7 years of the deal, which is around 400 million a year? Where did they dig up that cash?
