Trip Report Escaping the ARCTIC BLAST

This trip was planned Friday about 1030pm. Those of you that know me know my distain for cold, worse snow and ice. Saw what was coming and my DD said get out of here. I had to endure one day of the blast yesterday but it is 83 degrees at the Moment.

And we I know how much I hate rack rate. So up at 2am to go to Midway. On 1.5 hours sleep $49 MDW TO MCO

This trip it is just Donald and I.

They also reopened the coffee counter at the pool side entrance and now includes lot of frozen drinks They started the remodel while we stayed there early Spring and I’m happy with everything they have done. Plus everything got a fresh coat of paint

As happy as I am that the useless buildings are going away in Future World. That buildings like WoL will once again be for families I will miss these sidewalk lights. My DD as a small toddler would squat down and race the lights with her tiny finger intensely. She still loves them fondly as I do. The little extras Disney was known for.

Even though the pond is empty-dry the fountain kept pumping water upward and was beautiful.

Sadly all the ponds on this side of FW are gross and seedy. Guessing in the demo plans?

I was sad to see Malestrom leave. But I surprised at how accepting I am with Frozen giveni lovethe sound track but the movie not so much

This was harder to get over Test Track and Dwarf.

Interesting that the non endors d new scooter providers are wiggling their way back. Multiple guests I chatted with that used the new anointed provider for WDW were not praising. Most did not receive the type of scooter they ordered.

I spied another Indian passing the Cigar smoking lounge. (That place is strange)
