Trip Report Escaping the ARCTIC BLAST

This trip was planned Friday about 1030pm. Those of you that know me know my distain for cold, worse snow and ice. Saw what was coming and my DD said get out of here. I had to endure one day of the blast yesterday but it is 83 degrees at the Moment.

And we I know how much I hate rack rate. So up at 2am to go to Midway. On 1.5 hours sleep $49 MDW TO MCO

This trip it is just Donald and I.

From the staples In to the Chinese Theater more traditional decor aside from the Minnie ladies which I love

Both Commissary Way and Pixar St are pretty sparsely decorated.

1. I'm very envious.
2. Great report and I'm following right along.
3. My car doors were also frozen shut this morning from the combo of rain that turned to freezing rain and ultimately 3" of snow. Low tonight is 11 degrees, which is roughly 50 degrees lower than my tolerance despite decades of dealing with winter.

Thank you. And exactly why I left northern Illinois this week. I endured Monday and it was Nasty.

I'm in WNY and had to shovel 9 inches of snow.
My parents got stuck in LA after a cruise. They're coming back tonight. Its going to be a shock to their system lol.

We decided to hire someone to plow our driveway (and he even does sidewalks - we're on a corner, so it is a big deal), and paid the guy literally the day before all this stupid snow hit. My birthday was 10/21 and it was 72. How quickly we fall here...

Without a green fence, earth moving equipment and earth flying in the air.

If you want to be an Animator have to take the Conservation Train and walk all the way back to the petting zoo area.

While I do not have a scooter this trip it has one of the best load systems I’ve seen at any attraction or transportation. The train is ground level. Perfect.

Only thing wrong with that train is it's an old track and VERY bumpy. It killed my husband back... he said.. NEVER again!

Good fortune of hearing train Whistle before I reached train path. Pulled up and able to board.

Upon exiting the walk is boring and in eventful as it has been for 30 years unless you have kids doing the Scout kiosks. There at 2.

This was cheerful to see

Few and very basic farm animals at the petting zoo

So fat I liked the garbage can the best. You won’t see these critters back here though
