Eric Rudolph Found Near My House!!

Eric Rudolph was found early this morning in Murphy, North Carolina.

Murphy is like the next town over from mine!! It's only like 20 minutes away (that's with driving up and down a mountain.) The mountains I look at through my bedroom window at home are Murphy! That guy has been hiding basically in my backyard this whole time and we didn't know it.

Just thought I'd share with you all how funny this is. It's like finding out Bin Laden lives in the apartment complex near the Wal-Mart in your town.

I agree, even though I am not in favor of the death penalty, people need to learn the consequences of something like that.

Interesting how he was still in Murphy, NC after all this time.

The local Andrews-Murphy airport is where I tested for (and received) my private pilot's certificate. I remember how recently after that (2-3 months) there was a huge manhunt in the woods in that area and the FAA had a temporary no-fly zone there too.

I don't think he made it all the way over to your neck of the globe. It turns out some of the people in that area have been helping him all these years. I thought bounty hunters would have taken him to Canada already or something.
