After missing the conference and probably everyone discussing this and I might have missed my chance but I want to talk about the new park/ 4th gate to Universal Studios Orlando Resort.
Lands:

-How to Train your Dragon​

-Fantastic Beasts​

-Super Nintendo World​

-Classic Monsters​

There also is a Nintendo expansion, hotel and extra expansion for a new land. Out of this concept and the details I believe this might do well when it opens.
The Super Nintendo World is going to be the Mushroom Kingdom with maybe the Donkey Kong Country at opening (I hope). The expansion pad could feature Zelda, Pokémon or maybe a Luigi’s Mansion shooter dark ride.
Classic Monsters looks like there might be a centerpiece ride in a castle (maybe Dracula’s castle). It looks like it might have a Goth like feel with probably a few rides/ flats or just meet and greets for some Monsters and might be the home for a lot of HHN attractions if they can.
Fantastic Beasts looks like an interesting land with a huge show building which may be a indoor complex like maybe the Suit case or a Ministry if Magic with maybe a trackless dark ride.
The hotel looks interesting and I don’t feel like it is inporntant.
HttyD land looks like it has a dueling coaster (maybe a spiritual successor to Dueling Dragons featuring the IP) with a tropical feel and a bunch of mini ponds.

Overall this park looks fun and that is all I can speculate. Do you think this park sounds fun.

It is a (maybe) blue sky concept but I love to speculate and imagine so expect me to do a lot of that in the coming months

Why do you have 4 "it's bad" options? Two of which are exactly the same...

Content wise, the park looks like it has the potential to be really good and potentially amazing. The artwork itself is intentionally missing details because Universal thought they would be secretive about revealing details on what IPs or theming the lands would have. But everyone into theme park rumors knew full well what the lands are going to be right away.

This thread might end up being locked, but I will clarify a few things.

The dueling coaster is not part of HTTYD, it's part of the hub and may not be based on an existing franchise. HTTYD has its own separate family coaster, the art you posted has the bottom part cropped and it's missing some of the details. I doubt the land will be topical, the movies have a Vikings theme. The cut off part of the art also has a Mack Splash Battle boat ride and a handful of other sizeable buildings that could house other attractions. This land will probably have more content than you think.

Nintendo should have three rides in Orlando according to Universal insider Alicia Stella. Mario Kart, Yoshi's Adventure (appears to be some sort of omnimover) and Donkey Kong Minecart Madness (a new kind of roller coaster). Alicia posted a video of Universal testing out the DK ride system, so it's definitely coming. And you can spot it in the artwork, it's in the leftmost section of the land. There were models of Super Nintendo World leaked recently, and I suspect they are fairly accurate to what Orlando is getting (other Universal parks in California and Japan are only getting Mario and/or Yoshi, not DK).

I know it's really too early to tell, but I'd like to see something beyond architectural theming. There's very little "land" to these lands. Disney has been really pushing the boundaries with Carsland, Pandora, Galaxy's Edge with their epic faux landscapes. Kong and Volcano Bay didn't quite hit the nail on the head for me, but I certainly appreciated the efforts. Hogwarts on the hill works best. I'd like to see them try and top it.

Uni did amazing with Harry Potter and I hope Fantastic Beasts is going to be good as well but I want them to keep up their theming as Disney has gotten competitive as Marvel land is rumored to possibly be more immersive then GE (unlikely). But soon Uni (if they have not already) have plans for as highly or more immersive attractions as the competition has given us so many great things.
