Epic Mickey?

*Face palms* I know that. The problem I am having is eliminating one of the three beetleworks in front of the last generator to thin out the eye without the other two beetleworks come to kill me. I am out of any helpful sketches as well so it's pretty much just me vs the machines.

What part are you on? The attic in the Haunted Mansion where you fight the Mad Dr.? If so I dropped an anvil on the guy on the box, then you put a tv on the pad, run up the coaster track and drop an anvil on the pad near the dr., then run back to the box and drop an anvil on that. That probably makes no sense written out like this though.

Hmm, I had plenty, but I hardly ever used TV's throughout the game. I'm not aware of what to do for the thinner route.

You have to thin out the red eye on the third generator at the back of the room. That's what she's been struggling with.

ARGGG I can't get past the Jungle, been working at it for 3 days, for the life of me cannot beat that Pirate robot, I actually had him frozen in place one time  but I goofed and fell in the green river and died - I could have screamed!

If you had him frozen in place, you probably wouldn't have been able to beat him anyway. The game requires him to be able to spin for you to beat him, so a stationary pirate is not a helpful glitch. I've had the same thing happen, and since I was working on the "Hostiles in the Jungle" quest and couldn't defeat him, I had to take a thinner dive and restart the area.

If you get too frustrated, don't forget the Hostiles quest is not mandatory. You can leave the Jungle by just finishing the Symbols quest, although it will cost you an item or two.

That part ed me off as well. Took me several times to finally kill the guy.

LAST night I finally beat the level by getting the gems (actually had to get my son to do the jump on the golden trees (for the life of me I couldn't do it, he goes and does it instantly!) and then going to the tree house. SO on the next level I got the priate frozen again (near the well) and he was spinning. I was able to beat him instantly. I don't know what I do to get them frozen, or if it is a glitch. Anyone know?

The other pirate in (Tortoga?) I just thinned the boards and he fell into the river. :sohappy: Now I am at Pirates boat ride. Sorry I don't remember the names of the levels)

The easiest way to defeat the spinner pirate is to shoot the thinner while being on the bridge, then just run and spin at the spot on his back. He can't reach you while you are on the bridge.

Just finished tonight, and wrote up a review for it here.

Great game, great game.

Yes, and you gave it a great review. I agree with many of your points, and can only add that the game's music is great too. I have a CD of it that I've played over and over. James Dooley, its composer, really "gets" Mickey, Oswald and the daffy cartoon world they grew up in. His music is the frosting on this wonderful Disney treat.

I agree with you about the camera. It can be a bit aggravating, but there are ways around it and it does not really detract from the fun of the game. I love this game so much, and I'm hoping we'll have a sequel. Moreover, I'm hoping Disney will make a movie out of Epic Mickey. Since it's been such a success - over 1.4 million copies sold so far! - what more incentive would Disney need?

Thanks!

Yes, I honestly do not get why people single the camera out in these situations; I can't remember one time where it really hindered the gameplay, seems kind of ridiculous.
