Hello everyone, had a great day at teh Studios today...lots of pictures so let's get right to it!

STUDIOS

-SIGNAGE! Ok, so I'd say it's about half one and half the other name.Some little things were changed (pics included) while the Earful Tower and arch were all still bare. The biggest sign was the new letters on top of ticketing. Cast Members were all spot on at getting the name right.

-The TSM wall has moved up while Narnia is under rehab.

-Pretty much all of the MGM merch is gone (save for attraction stuff and a few frames and such.) Nothing with the new name, but one coat that says Disney MGM Studios 2008. Must've been already made!

-Muppets actully went 101 while I was waiting in the pre show.

-crowds were good.

-No hoopla at all.

Thanks for the pictures! I wish we could see a bit more progress on TSM, but summer will be here before you can say "Disney-MGM's Hollywood Studios, not in California."

Sorry there was a lack of hoopla today, but at least it was a gorgeous day!

Thanks for the update EpcotServo! Some of the new signage looks great! I'm excited to see the major signage (Animation Courtyard arch, Earful Tower) with the new logo in time. :D

So no new shotglasses? I went last year specifically to get the last of the MGM labeled shot glasses. I should have bought more! What if I break one!?!

Until I saw your pictures I didn't realize where exactly the wall is now for TSM construction on the One Man's Dream side. Geeeze that is close to the entrance to OMD I'm surprised they can squeeze a CM in there lol. Thanks for another great update.

Great pics. Its funny how they've changed some of the smallest, insignificant signs already, yet the main two are still MIA.

As of yesterday afternoon, the buses were all still reading "Disney-MGM Studios" across the top. I wish I had more of an answer for you, but school started again today, so I couldn't stay down there longer.

Yes, the buses have changed to say "Disney's Hollywood Studios." They rotate between "Disney's" and "Hollywood Studios" like Animal Kingdom's sign does. I saw the first one around 11:30pm last night, and they were in full force today. I only saw a few that still said "Disney/MGM Studios."

And yes, the buses did say "MGM" in the name - not just "Disney Studios." And I have a photo to prove it... :)

Yea, I know. I choose to spell it with a C when I first used it (about a year ago.) so that it'd be a bit easier to read for people who didn't understand.
