Nice report. Always great to see what's happening at The World. One thing that struck me is the number of "reasonable dreams" banners that have sprung up everywhere. They're everywhere-and I'm thinking they may have overdone it a little bit! Ah well, at least they're blue instead of pink and purple.

The idea with the banners and all other decorations, I think after the event is over they put them up for auction and the money goes to charity, at least thats what they did with alot of the deco's from the celabration in 2000.

They just look so out of place at The Studios.

Cool update...we didn't get the rain up in Jax, though (well, some overnight, but need more).

One suggestion (not bashing...wanting to be helpful!) that might help with some of the blurry shots...have you looked into a gorilla pod, or maybe a monopod? They could help in some of the low light situations...but, if you're anything like me with the camera, it wouldn't help because you wouldn't want to take the time to set it up!

Looks like you got to Epcot close to the same we did, seeing as it looks like it just stopped raining when your heading in. Did you by chance see the accident on World Drive? Wasn't major, but they had a couple lanes closed going southbound. A Disney bus was facing northbound on that side and had it's back right tire completely submerged in the median...so not exactly sure what happened there. We tend not to be gawkers, so we could only glance as we drove by.

Yea, I saw that and wondered what happened there.

I really don't understand why they felt the need to go crazy with the YOMD stuff in the parks all of a sudden. I guess they won't be able to pin attendance records on the promotion unless they can ensure that people knew it was going on. :lol:

They stick out like a sore thumb. But, they do this with every "celebration". I remember the HCOE stuff on Sunset looked ridiculous as well. They should alternated lamp posts instead of doing each one.
