You've read my mind. This is exactly what I've been envisioning!
They should re-name the park "DUFFCOT Center."

"Do you remember learning your ABCs? Well thank Phoenician Duffy, he invented the alphabet."

The Seas with Nemo and Duffy and Friends...

Duff Track...Duff Track...Duffy's Energy Adventure...

(actually that last one might be an improvement)

Or perhaps, seeing how successful they were in getting Oswald back from Universal....

And seeing how huge a hit the Stark Tech overlay at DL's Innoventions was,

Disney worked out a contract with Universal about a certain Marvel character that Universal has decided that they don't want anything to do with.

That's right.

Squirrel Girl will start appearing at The Land.

Now I can't stop thinking about Duff Man. OH YEAH!

What if they replace Captain EO with a 3D Duffy movie, and turn the rest of Imagination into a Duffy store/meet & greet?

All Duffy all the time
I almost "liked" this post, but then I thought it would send the wrong message. I did find it amusing though. When you think about it there is only one thing that they could put in there that would be worse then Capt. Ewwwww and that would be Duffy. It takes a sick mind to even think of that happening. Nice going Pres. :p

Sadly, while everyone here has some great ideas, I don't forsee any great changes for Epcot. I think that the priorities are HS with Carsland/Star Wars/Pixar which will be sorted out and announced soon, then AK with Avatar, then Downtown Disney's ongoing transformation, finish up Fantasyland....then maybe something in Epcot...but a big maybe. This is not to say that Soarin won't get a new movie, or Eo won't get evicted, but I don't see anything MAJOR as in multimillion dollar expense coming anytime soon....

I asked this in the original thread, but how many people have bothered to actually go listen to the interview that started this conversation? Or bothered to look at Rees' website to see the sort of work he has done for Disney in the past? Or considered the pacing of Disney's build times?

The currently listed Mystery Attraction is Mystic Manor.

So, 2 year build time? For Disney? Must be a meet and greet, or bathrooms, or benches... We all know they take 3-4 years to build attractions... So it must be something simple...

Bring on Brazil. Then you add a 3D movie where you need to fight your way trough the crowd of protesters to go to the beach or a soccer game.
I'm Brazilian so I can joke about it lol

I do not think that WDW will build anymore country pavilions unless it is by the Morocco model - paid for and maintained financially by that country (or wealthy patron to foot the bill in perpetuity). Disney does not want to put the money into more pavilions, but would build if someone else is footing the bill.

Wouldn't we all?!?!?

I'm puzzled why TDO would be so hesitant to put in a new pavilion @ the World Showcase. I would think with the food, drink (alcohol) and merchandise that they sell in them, that they would pay for themselves much faster than a traditional attraction.
