Alright.. Since Disney isn't throwing an Epcot 25 event, atleast they are seemingly taking care of Epcot.
Let's keep track of what's going on during the "Year of refurbishments for a celebration were not really having..."
Future World:
Character Connection - Currently being put into the old Pasta Piazza building permanently, has the Fountainview closed as a side-effect, and also is refurbishing that whole "flex space" area of West Innoventions. No more Communicore carpet, and the restrooms even get a bit of a makeover.
Electric Umbrella - Permits filed recently to replace the "wall carpet", and the self-service beverage stations are coming soon too.
Innoventions - Two "sign" towers are down, completely removed.
Spaceship Earth - Post-show update pending, possible ride update too.
Seas - New exhibit in the old Turtle Talk module, new Turtle Talk theater and queue, and new interactive kiosks. Of course, the whole Seas with Nemo and Friends is new too.
Over in World Showcase:
Japan - Mitsukoshi closes soon for refurbishment, the whole pavilion has been under tarps for an extended period.
China - Lotus Blossom is under refurbishment, a new Joy of Tea is opening soon, and they have been refurbishing the temple for a while.
Mexico - Gran Fiesta Tour
Canada - New film, some say it'll be here as early as May.
American Adventure - Brad Rex said there would be some minor show changes in the film portion.
Italy - Alfredos is closing, certainly something has to replace it?
UK - Rose and Crown refurbishment, and the fish and chips place recently got redone.
Is there anything else I've missed? Germany, France, and Morroco seem to be the quiet ones from World Showcase.
