The food booths were: The nut, popcorn and hotdog cart in Showcase. As well as the hot dog, turkey, and ice cream carts by Test Track. The beverage/pretzel and ice cream by Imagination were also open.

The other stuff, I don't remember, I'll have to look at the info but it's in my locker right now.

The wristbands were just regular old wristbands that were green. I don't have one because I was Cast, not Guest

The waits, I dunno, I was in Showcase.

The sonic boom scared the :X outta all the guests, but we were there to assure them that everything was okay, and that it was normal.

Can anyone give a somewhate detailed report about what it was like? Were the World Showcase restaurants open late? What were the lines like for the FutureWorld rides (Test Track, M:S, etc)

WS was dead b/c It was only open from Mexico to China. Overall, I'd say it was a HUGE success. Wait time-wise, we closed like normal; Walk on from 8:30 to 9:00. Right after Illuminations, everyone ran over to our side of the park and our wait time was over an hour at around 10:30. It started slowing down, though, at around 11:15. I had about 20 people come up and tell me that they loved the idea and hoped Disney would keep the extra magic hours. Everyone I work with thought it was a good idea for the guests too... aside from having to work late... HA! Well.. that's my extra magic park after dark update. I can honestly see them keeping it. It was a lot of fun and all the guests seemed informed about it. I only had to turn away one party and they understood.

This is only a two week long test. After which, things will be evaluated... yes, we're doing research on this. Hense the word TEST. The last night of this test is 5/22 and there is no likelyhood of it being extended at this time.

In the mean time, E-Rides will start up on the 31st.

BOTH are for resort guests only; if youre an AP holder or a desperate CM, book a room or something.

Personally, my gut feeling is that EMH Nights will eventually be permident. Granted the cast will hate it (i can just hear the CPs whining now), but this really isnt about the cast, is it? Its about the guests and their vacations.

Not exactly. For E Ride night, you must have a multiday ticket/Park Hopper/AP + Resort Stay. One day park ticket won't qualify you, even if you are at a "resort". Not sure if the resorts are "strict" about checking that but those are the guidelines, as far as I know.

I hope that they are permnant, I think the idea is GREAT, and it was cool being there so late. The only thing was that WS was soooo dead. Instead of having WS open, open more food booths in FW so that more people can have Ice Cream! :) It's also nice for non-resort guests, because they can still get popcorn, ice cream, and etc after the fireworks.

Epcot really doesn't need the extra 3 hours.

Plus, not everyone knew about it.

There were over 5,000 people that showed up at the MK yesterday morning because they thought it was an early opening.

I still haven't recieved this postcard some people mentioned were sent to them informing them about the EMH. I leave on Monday so I think if I was going to get one it would have come already. If I hadn't learned of the EMH reading these boards, I probably would have been one of those people showing up at the wrong times....I wonder if they're telling guests about whats going on at check-in?

Yes, we are (or some/most are) spieling the extra magic hour details as far as no mornings on somedays and about the evenings. I don't go into detail about the attractions or getting wristbands for the night, but do explain the days (1 hr. morning, 3 hr. night).

Most started speiling it on Saturday, so those there before that might not have been informed. Sunday and Monday (at least) resorts have been issuing resort wide voicemails about the extra magic hour info.
