Epcot / Theme Park No. 5

Hey,

i'm wondering if any of the budding imagineers (or imagineers...or whatever) could help me with something. For my graphics project i'm going to design a 5th theme park at disney. Whilst epcot already exists, i'm going to basically redesign epcot, add some new attractions remove the world showcase, make it into a different park, with the same ideas as epcot - science/technology.

So, i'm wondering if you fantastic people :lol: can help me by giving me ideas for some of the things mentioned below

Icon Ideas
What could be the icon for this new futuristic park? i'm thinking of something like i giant spacecraft or rocket or something?

Ride Ideas
The rides will be individually designed (and some probably rendered in 3dsmax 4) - i need ideas for the ride, what type of ride it will be, who it will cater to, maybe a sponsor for it etc.

General Stuff
Anything else you can think of ;-)

Well, since theres no replys, any chance you can at least give me an opinion on this ride? 3d renderings to come

Ride Name: Area 62
Ride Sponsor: Microsoft (yea, i know :hammer: )
Ride Description: Guests enter through a gateway with a military style guard at the gate, and enter into a big building with lots of ariels etcetera on the roof. Once inside, they go through the queue watching people working on things on the computers - maybe some stuff about the construction of epcot or something on the walls. ocassionally there will be a top secret door, which someone might come out of and you will catch a glimpse of an alien or something. Eventually you get to the ride portion, and get into a jeep type vehicle which takes off to the "Top Secret Facilty" - it goes out of a door to outside, round a road and into another entrance. Once in the next entrance, the guest will see a shuttered door open, and a voice saying "Group 1 Cleared for area alpha". Once in there, the jeep will suddenly take off downhill, and as it gets near the bottom, another jeep will appear. The ride vehicle will take a sharp corner into a chamber. once in the chamber, the ride will suddenly lie still for a few seconds, and all of a sudden there will be a huge smashing sound, and an alien type creature follows the guests. At this point, the jeep takes off again and gets back

Anyways, that idea sucks ;-) - basically i want a ride where the guests are going through a secret lab, and then they go underground sortof in some sort of ride

Any opinions (constructive criticism ;-))

Wait wait wait........ The idea of Epcot is "Discovery", including an "experimental prototype community of tomorrow" in which people no matter where from or which beliefs, could live together in harmony just like WSC cast members prove to be doing.

If you are going to make a 5th theme park, why would you choose Epcot and "make it into a different park"?? Just think of a complete new one!

Also, no offense please, but how long do you think a "futuristic" park would last until it gets outdated? The same thing happens to Future World and rides have to be updated constantly. I know it is just a school project and not a real one, but makes me "ggggrrrr" when I hear something like "remove WSC"...!!

Maria: thanks, i haven't actually been to epcot more than once (the benefits of living in the uk ) - anyway, i might change it then to a different one completely

aaawwww..... I´m sorry, I didn´t mean to make u change your mind.... just that Epcot is my favorite one and WSC is simply amazing to me.

But I would consider the idea of a futuristic project because it would be hard to keep it up to date.

What about one dedicated to discovery instead of being futuristic, cause then you can still bring in moon landings etc, but also use old stuff (discovering new lands etc)
