Epcot Resorts Blvd Construction.

Saw someone saying on the DVC Facebook page today that the construction on Epcot Resorts Blvd, behind the Villas at Beach Club was noisy and disturbing and they posted this picture. Anyone know what’s going on back there? I apologize if this is being covered in another thread, but I haven’t seen anything.

The road is closed. Traffic heading to the Beach club must come and go via the swan and dolphin side

True, although by the nature of the road, once it gets past the Beach Club, I don't think that road was ever intended to be a guest heavy road. It certainly looks like a road that is meant to be more of a "backstage" road.

As a side note, one of my favorite things about driving in WDW, was finding all of these different ways to get places that were clearly never meant to be major guest routes.

Ah, well, that sucks for people staying in YC/BC then.

I'd think the work ends when the sun goes down, so I can't imagine it being to impactful to the folks staying there, from a sleep perspective.

It was more from a transportation convenience perspective.

Bunch of permits this week for infrastructure work around Epcot. The pond is the one by the Solar farm and I believe that the parking lot is the new one they are building behind GotG.
