Epcot Renovations and blue sky concept

It's been a little over a year since they have released the blue sky concept. So far progress is taking shape for Guardiens of the Galaxy and the space restaurant but the center of Future World has yet to show any signs of demolition or the beginnings of any work. Was that concept really ever a plan or just a concept?

Problem is that it was competing plans. And in the delay, money shifts and even more plans get proposed and decisions get pushed back.

It was a concept. One of at least half a dozen. I pray it doesn’t happen.

If the shows were to be kept the fountain of nations would be awesome being in the middle of a green. The larger fountains seemed awesome as well but there's something special about the fountain of nations being a real show fit onto a round fountain rather then being in a lake like all the others. I on the other hand would love to see a communicore style landscape.

What I hate about the fountain:

1. Often not working correctly.
2. Often not actually putting on a fountain show
3. Not centered in the Innoventions plaza, but offset in a southern direction where it pinches the foot traffic where the Innoventions open.
4. The stage makes the pinch worse
5. Neither the stage nor the crowd's viewing area is covered and so, way too hot to stand in that giant concrete slab to watch anything... if they had put the stage on the northern side, it would have centered the fountain and given the crowd the ability to stand under the hated sails.
6. It's elevated. So, you have to look up to see a fountain show. And you can't get far enough away so that you don't have to look up anymore unless you go to that giant concrete slab where there's no seating... and have the stage block your view of the falls.
