Epcot New Year Finale

Hi!

I am trying to develop my own New Year's Eve fireworks show, with a finale of Auld Lang Syne. Having watched the video available of the 2004 New Year's Eve Show at Epcot after Reflections of Earth, I really liked the recording of Auld Lang Syne used. Does anyone know who it is, or where it is available from?

Hi, I've done some searching for you and I've come up empty.


I've not heard the version you speak of but Auld Lang Syne is a standard and has been down by countless bands. So without insider info on whose version they might of used you might as well just pick one off the shelf at your local music store. (Most are going to sound pretty much like the next anyway unless you can describe the style it was done in to a knowledgeable store clerk)

I've also done some searching and contacted WDW, and come up with nothing! They told me it is a specially recorded version for Epcot and cannot release the details about the performers.

Right... I have the master version of "We`ve Just Begun to Dream" that is used for NYE - it`s instrumental WJBTD, with the countdown from 10 to 1 and `Auld Lang Syne` is sung after 1. Could this be the one?

Edit; just checked the NYE vids here at WDWMagic; it`s none of them. The music I have though does sound fairly modern (i.e not from the 80`s)

i know this thread has been long since past but any chance i could get that song as well, i have spent the past hour searching both itunes and the web and this is the Closest thing i have found!
