It really is impressive when you see it in person. The movements of the animatronics are spot-on... it really seems like Muppets are performing live in front of you. The comedy will get some tweaks, I'm sure, but everyone watching was really mystified by the whole thing.

I was quite impressed at the level of interactivity. They were able to spot and comment on tiny details about people very quickly.

Bunsen and Beaker are two of my favorite Muppets. In fact my brother named his 2 cats Beaker and Bunsen! I love this mobile lab, technically and artistically it is incredible! But I agree about the commentary, it seems like Bunsen's always trying to kill time before the real show starts, then there is no real show. I actually thought the commentary was much better towards the end of the video when he was just commenting on things that he passed by like the person dressed like Shmee and the people coming out of the Imagination Pavilion, that was good.

That really is amazing. However, it would be so much better at DHS next to muppet vision. It would be a perfect addition to the area.

from what i understand the technology needs a very wide open space to function properly. Disney's Hollywood studios doesn't have the area needed especially around muppets 3D Epcot is full of nice open areas so it was a perfect spot for testing. It's only going to be here for a short time then off to china.

I understand the space issue, but it still makes me very sad that MML is only here temporarily. Muppets 3D is one of my favorite attractions. I've been very disappointed lately with the Muppets giftshop. Seeing MML, it makes me happy that the Muppets are still important to Disney! I just hope we see more Muppets in the future!

Speaking of Muppets around more, did anyone see them on Americas got talent (I think that's the name of the show) the other night? It was pretty good, Animal, Swedish Chief, and Beaker were judges, Miss Piggy had a quick appearance, and Kermit was on stage (it didn't sound like him at all though, to high pitched). I was happy to see them on prime-time again. :sohappy:

Still there?

Has the muppet mobile lab been around of late? Hopefully will get a few hours at Epcot on Sunday and would love to see it.

Thanks,

Matt
