Well it should probably warm up first, otherwise it may get a strain. Maybe walk first then run?

Haven’t heard from any of my friends in the know, but some in the department have received call-backs. So, fingers crossed that’s a good sign that maybe someday.

I think the next best chance will be when Poly reopens. That will increase demand by about 50%.

I hope so, we are DVC at Polly but that is the only rooms open there now. It is very easy to walk to TTC and take the Monorail to Epcot. We will be there the first of May and it does not look like it will be operating by then but hopefully by December when we are there again.

Pretty sure it’s been said before that it will open once the monorails can take more people so they don’t need the extra trains running on the MK loop.

So sometime in the Summer perhaps.

Won’t be until they

1) can load the trains closer to pre Covid levels

2) call back 30 or so more monorail hosts needed to staff the epcot stations each schedule

3) and/or buy more trains

I'm kind of shocked that there hasn't been any discussions/praise of Disney cleaning the monorail tracks.

Ah. I mostly Hang out in the news and rumors section. So I guess I meant To say that I’m shocked it hasn’t popped up on the homepage or the news threads.

With the EPCOT line down for so long, does anyone know if the station gates have been converted from the big manual sliding gates, to automatic gates like the MK and TTC stations on the resort and express line use? It seems like it would have been an opportune time to do the conversion. (If they didn't, it sure seems like a missed opportunity.)

No plans to do that currently
