I sort of remember this show that was on The Disney Channel in the early 80's
but wasn't it like a Popular mechanics-esq show? Anyone know more about it?

The only Info I found is from wikipedia..
"EPCOT Magazine was a 1980s television series on the Disney Channel. The show originated from the EPCOT park in Florida. The weeknight show was hosted by Michael Young and co-hosted by a new guest host each week."

Don't remember that one...but I do remember Disney Inside-Out. It was mandatory for me to watch that...haha.

Sounds like something they did a few years back called "Secrets of the Animal Kingdom" to promote the new park.

Or a few years ago they had a show introducing DCA on ABC they had stars showing different parts of the park. It was interesting.

Does anyone remember when Disney used to have a Travel Magazine that you got when you subscribed to the Disney Channel... We had it growing up.. I remember reading cool things in there.. Like all the white sand they have around the park was actually found when they were digging the Magic Kingdom... They hauled it off site and stored it then used it to finish the resorts with... Just little cool things... I miss that magazine...

I loved that show! I have looked on eBay for years and never see much from that show. I was able to get a video tape a couple years ago with one or two episodes. Anyway, I have hope that one day, maybe a "Best of" DVD set would come out!
