k last trip the kids were 4 &6. Thsi trip they are 6&8. So we thought we would try the Living Seas at Epcot with kiddos. I'm sure they will love it. But what else at Epcot do you suggest.
Thanks in advance

Our kids (11,9,7 &4) all love Epcot--they love going around all the countries and learning about them. There is Journey to Imagination, Sourin, Test Track, Space ship Earth, Honey I Shrunk The Audience etc, etc! I think it is a popular misconception that there is nothing there for Kids to do, but that is so wrong!!

Definitely Living Seas. You don't want to miss Turtle Talk with Crush. Also do the Imagination ride which features Figment, but NOT Honey, I Shrunk the Audience. If they like fast rides and meet the height requirement, Test Track is also a possibility. If they want to see some dinosaurs, try Ellen's Energy Adventure. It's not a thrill ride like the attraction at AK and there is no height requirement. If you want to make the tour around World Showcase, the kidcot stops at each country help keep kids entertained. El Rio del Tiempo at Mexico is fine, and most kids I've seen also do fine on Maelstrom at Norway.

Thanks so much for the input.
I almost forgot about the Norway ride, I think they will really like that.
Test track is a definite maybe. Spaceship earth and the figment ride they will like.

Thanks again.

Also, be sure to hit the KidCot Fun Stops, available at each of the World Showcase pavilions, and most of the Future World pavilions. They each have hands-on activities based around the theme of the pavilion. The kids really enjoy them, and they help make the themes of Epcot relevent for them.

Also, if your kids are interested in nature or gardening, you might want to consider taking them on the Behind the Seeds tour in The Land. It's a one hour tour, led by one of the greenhouse staff. We do our best to change our tour each time to suit all of our guests. Some activities we have for kids are a taste test of our produce (currently cucumbers), the opportunity to feed the fish in the aquacell and release ladybugs in one of the greenhouses, and we also create "pocket gardens" (little ziploc bags with cotton in them, in which several seeds will sprout if you carry them around in your pocket for several days). The tour is $12 for adults and $10 for children 3-9.

Several good suggestions... I remember hating Epcot when I was 5. I loved the rides but the park seemed so big and I got extremely tired. If possible, do this park over 2 different days. Future World one day and World Showcase another day. Better safe than sorry when a cranky kid is at stake... They'll probably love Illuminations; who doesn't?!

Also, I would say that a low wait time + friendly dinosaurs = a happy family. Be sure to check out Universe of Energy... even if they don't understand the moral.

I don't know the budget, but I would suggest the Tepanyaki Japanese restaurant (??). It's delicious and interactive, so the kids will love that. Lunch prices (esp. for children) are reasonable. The dinner is the exact same but more money. In the 20+ trips, my family has eaten there at least once every time starting with our first visit in 1989. It will be a memorable meal.

I think all the rides in future world are worth doing, Soarn', test track are a must. When I was that age I didnt find world showcase all that great, except norway and a few other countries. They will like innoventions with all the video games if they are into that, I know I was/Am.:D

Your kids will LOVE the Land Pavilion. Soarin is a excellent ride for any age, and Living With the Land is a good ride. Always interesting. Also there is a character dining in the Land called: Garden Grill, featuring Mickey, Chip and Dale, and Pluto. Garden Grill restaurant turns in a 360 circle and the scenes that are viewed from your table are the scenes from the Living With the Land ride. Very COOL! After that, they will enjoy the Movie, Circle of Life with Simba and other Lion King characters.

Our first trip to WDW was in 1997, our sons were 4 and 2 1/2, they had no problems anywhere we went. Now at 12 and 10 they are pro's when it comes to touring, and they have the stomachs for MS, I did it once and that was enough. About a year ago before my wife and I decided to surprise them with a short trip to WDW I had asked them ( after we had been there 9 times with them ), if they were getting bored with the place, I figured that they would take a few moments to think about it, but they answered in a second..NO, so I guess they will never grow out of it....:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy::D
