In prior years my children did the passports and masks. Does anyone know what they have for the kids in World Showcase this year? Anything new and special for them to do at each country?
THANKS!!

Basically, Epcot has the same masks. They have added a few more KIDCOT stops like in Test Track somewhat recently where you can make a car token for your mask.

If I can recall, they've had these same masks ever since the 100 Years of Magic Celebration, or maybe even the Millenium Celebration. I personally thought it was cooler when they had specific activities in each country.

Actually you can add the test track one to your mask if you want but what a lot of guest don't know is that they have the mask in the countries and they have a lanyard in future world.

If you're entering the park, first place you might want to stop by to get one is at Innoventions East. They have the "Kimunicator" there. I know because I used to put those suckers together all the time =D

The other places you can get the lanyard that says "kid ______ fun stop" are

The living seas where you can get a dolphin or a shark or both
The land~ A venus fly trap or a lady bug
Test Track~ They give you a cone (car cone) or a car or both

And that's it. For xmas they had the xmas mask and for food and wine they have the food and wine mask. During special holidays for some of the countries, they give different things to hook onto your mask such as during Faulks day they gave you a penny cutout to connect to your mask.

Anyhow, yeah. That's about it for new. I think they're adding a new kidcot somewhere but I forget where.

They have several different mask types in World Showcase and some seem to hold up better due to shape and eye and mouth cut out sizes.

In Future World they have the lanyards which you attach the little cardboard "thingies" to. My daughter only did it at the Land while we were waiting for my wife who was doing Soarin. They had pictures for you to draw that they hung up and you could decorate the thingie to hang on the lanyard. In this case it was bugs as it was the land. Not sure what the others have.
