I just think they should really do something with spaceship earth. I mean not completely rip it out but make the cars a bit smoother and no squeekyness and just add a few touch ups here and there...

Would anyone agree of a replacing of the famous narrators voice... no... ok then i'll shut up :hammer:

Jeremy Irons is the voice now, right?

"Scar...Brother..Help me...."
"LONG LIVE THE KING!"

Ohh..Everytime I go on the ride, I Imagine Scar is telling me about the future of communication.

Hey, lets stick to the lion king theme, and put James Earl Jones in there! He would be a cool voice to have buzzing in your ear, very deep, commanding, and inspiring..

Or we could get Macy Gray, but then everyone would claw their ears out by the time they get to the 'burning rome' scene...

If were onto replacing the voice topic... if they did they should get someone really famous but not wacky like robin williams but someone who can be wacky but serious like... Tom Cruse he has a certain distinctive voice. Someone young, someone famous can u do better than Tom Cruse?...

I think the ride suits the older voice more, I would go with the sticking with Irons or going for James Earl-Jones.

Wee thread drift here.

I take it you are an air fan, cookie monster?

(I just read that, air fan!)

Epcot deserves a lot of attention from the exects, being it is probably the park with the most heart and soul out of any of the other parks besides DL.

The Universe of Energy should incorporate special effects demonstrationg the use of different energy sources. Like, simulating a nuclear chain reaction in a Nuclear Power Plant. Why do we just go through the Jurrasic Period? Fossil Fules are the main focus of the ride, it seems, but just seeing what the land of Dinosaurs was like doesn't seem to do as much for the energy part of the ride.

Energy comes from atoms, right? i'm not a scientist or anything, but it could be like that old ride at DL where you went through a shrinking machine and went into an atom, or whatever it was. Have the vehicles "shrink", so that you can actually "see" the atoms all around you. The vhehicle would comtinue to "shrink" as it progressed, sending you into a single atom, wiht electrons flying all around you. The show would explain how it all relates to energy. (and I think it should star Tim Conway :D )

No, but they can take out those tacky, corny, ridiculos monitor screen things you see when ascending. I HATE those, they're more cheesy than Dino-Rama... and that supposed to be cheesy! :hammer:

Air wasn't what i expected it to be like, but it was still quite good.

Personally, i think oblivion is a great ride. I would say I'd like to see a ride like that at disney, but i don't see where that would ever fit in.

I would like to see the monitors removed from SE, and I would maybe have a new film for UoE.

I agree wholeheartedly. Spaceship earth is my favorite ride at my favorite park and everytime I see the dioramma treatment at the end of the ride, I feel queasy.
If Epcot really is getting a lot of money to do some serious refurb, I would suggest taking a look at upgrading the ride after the scene with the american boy and the Japanese (I believe... she might be chinese) girl

I think they should just leave Spaceship Earth alone and try to focus on new ones or rehabing the older ones. I say they should change that Energy ride [I can't think of the name right now]

Yeah, that's it, I don't really like that ride. I think they should drop the idea of using dinosaurs in their and have a ride about new means of fuel in the future cuz [cuz I think its sponsered by Exxon], that's something they're teaching you wich is really what EPCOT's about

As long as Exxon sponsors the Universe of Energy, the ride will always be mainly about fossil fuels. Aure, they touch on other energy alternatives, but it will always star fossil fuels, unless Exxon gets into the hydroelectric busines, which I doubt highly. And, I don't think changing UoE is really the thing to do. I kind of like Ellen's Energy Adventure. I think she's funny.

I don't know...
Then what? We have Matterhorn East?
I think a dark rollercoaster in Japan would be amazing... Think if they had some kind of Samurai theming...
That would be sooooo good.
