Hey all!,
I have a Question, can you get a good view of Illuminations from International Gateway from outside the park?
And if not is there some of way getting inside of the park free or for a discount to see illuminations?
All help is thanked!

There is no chance at all of getting in especially on the 4th of July. The views from outside the gateway are also not worth the effort cause you can't see a thing :) Have fun!

Unfortunately it will be tough to see the show from the International Gateway. The bridge between the UK and France blocks the entire view, with the remainder of the view blocked by large trees. Sorry. :( Disney does not offer a discounted price ticket for Epcot evenings.

We tried watching from the International Gateway bridge last December....not worth it.

You can only see the highest of fireworks, and cannot hear the soundtrack.

We were going to do this one year, but I think we got there too late. I never knew it wasnt a good spot, but Im glad Im hearing this now and didnt experience it the night I tried, or I would have been mad.

Difficult to see them anywhere outside the gates. Epcot's fireworks are very low altitude and one of the reasons they are so cool because they are quite close to the observer. Also, I:ROE incorporates a lot of WS lighting as well as lasers that reflect off of the smoke. Can't forget the pyro barge, it pretty much makes the "chaos" movement.

MK's fireworks are a different story. TTC Ferryboat landing, for example, is a neat place to watch them, sometimes I prefer that spot over being at the hub. The audio is simple to solve with an MP3 player. Wishes and I:ROE mp3s are floating around the internet. MK appears so grand when gazed upon from the TTC. Sure, it's impressive when very close to the castle, but it just seems so elegant when the entirety can be viewed from a distance and the fact that it's raised up on a small hill.

The only time I've really been able to see ROE quite clearly from outside the park was actually from Hollywood Hills Amphitheatre - we were sitting waiting for a 9.30 performance of Fantasmic! and suddenly we could see the higher-level pyro pretty clearly - it was pretty cool. Nerd that I am, I was humming the score in my head in time to the fireworks!

Pretty much the only way of catching 2 shows in one night without even moving!:)
